John Abraham is all set to raise your patriotism as he will uphold the tricoloured flag in his upcoming movie Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran which speaks about the first nuclear test of India. He released the first look poster of the movie via his Instagram account.

The movie Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran is based on the first nuclear test of India. Speaking about the movie, John said it was time to revisit the mission which remained a cause to change India’s place on the world map. The mission was pivotal in making India a strong nuclear state, he added.

India conducted its first nuclear test at Pokhran desert in Rajasthan on May 18, 1974. The mission was noticed for its secrecy that surrounded it. Other than the 75 member team, only a few had information on the mission.

Diana Penty plays the lady lead opposite John Abraham. Boman Irani also plays a major role in the film directed by Abhishek Sharma. Sachin-Jigar composes the music. Zee Studio, JA Entertainment, and Kriaj Entertainment jointly produce the film. The movie is scheduled to release on 8th of December 2017.
